RiskMode is a daily board, not a pick dump. Four to six plays with the case for each one spelled out: the streak, the matchup, the number that sold it. If a play's best sell is hype, it doesn't make the card. Some days that means a short card. Some days it means no card at all, and we say so.
The card stays short. Every play has to beat out the whole slate to make it. Twenty picks a day is a lottery ticket printer. Five picks that survived the cut is a board.
Nothing steeper than -175. Heavy juice is how a winning week still loses money. The price is part of the pick, and a great play at a bad number is a pass.
The homework shows. A hot streak against the wrong pitcher is a trap. A big strikeout line against a team that never swings and misses is a trap. Every play on the card got checked against the things that kill it before it got posted.
The record is public. Wins, losses, and voids, every day since day one. When a player scratches, we say the bet voids at the book. When we lose, it's the first line of the next morning's post. That's why the number at the top of this page means something.
